Grade Calculator
Enter the grades and category weights you have so far to estimate your current weighted course average.
Enter at least one graded category.
How to use this calculator
Add each graded category as a percentage and its course weight. Leave categories you have not been graded on blank. The result is normalized across the categories entered.
Formula
Current grade = sum(category grade × category weight) ÷ sum(entered category weights).
About this estimate
Use the weighted grade calculator to combine the course categories that already have grades. Each category contributes according to its share of the final course grade. For example, a 90% homework average worth 40% and an 80% exam average worth 60% gives a current weighted grade of 84%. If categories remain ungraded, the result is an average across the entered categories, not a prediction of the final course grade.
Course grading and GPA policies vary by school. Use your syllabus or registrar’s published rules when a course or academic decision depends on the result.
